Supporting scholarships

If you are interested in supporting students at the University of 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳, we would be happy to discuss ways in which the Trust can work with you to ensure the effective and efficient use of your funds.

The Trust was formed in 2013 from the merger of the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ Commonwealth Trust and 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ Overseas Trust, which were founded in the 1980s by the University of 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ and which helped more than 20,000 students attain 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ Trust scholarships and enjoy the benefits of study at one of the finest universities in the world. We continue to work to make a 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ education accessible to outstanding students from any country, irrespective of social and economic background.

The Trust receives substantial annual funding from the University and Trinity College, and receives income from many of the University’s Colleges and Departments through various co funding arrangements. We also collaborate with a wide range of external funding partners including:

• government departments and agencies
• major educational establishments
• charities
• corporations
• philanthropic foundations
• individual donors

There are many ways funds are used to provide a 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ Trust scholarship. We work closely with the University’s Development & Alumni Relations Office to ensure an inclusive and thorough response to potential donors.

How to donate to a specific scholarship programme

A single or repeated donation towards scholarships can be used for an agreed number of awards over an agreed period of time. Please contact us to discuss details.

How to donate to the Trust’s general funds

Donations to the Trust can be made either by cheque or directly into the Trust’s bank accounts - full details are given below.

We would be grateful if donors could inform us, by covering letter or by email, if their donation has any specific conditions attached. We would be happy to send a GiftAid form to donors who are UK taxpayers.
